Baked Beans

1 POUND BACON, COOKED AND CRUMBLED (I ALSO USE DICED HAM)
2 MEDIUM ONIONS, SLICED AND SAUTEED IN THE BACON GREASE

POUR OUT GREASE AND, TO THE BACON AND ONIONS, ADD 1 CUP CIDER VINEGAR AND 2 CUPS BROWN SUGAR. SIMMER FOR 20 MINUTES.

DRAIN AND RINSE THE FOLLOWING BEANS (ACTUALLY, I USE ALL KINDS OF BEANS- BLACK BEANS, GARBANZOS, PINTO BEANS AND I ADD EXTRA CANS FOR BIGGER CROWDS)
1 CAN PORK AND BEANS
1 CAN BUTTER BEANS
1 CAN LIMA BEANS
1 CAN KIDNEY BEANS

POUR SAUCE OVER BEANS IN AN OVEN PROOF CONTAINER. COVER TIGHTLY (I USE FOIL AND A LID). BAKE AT 300 FOR 1.5 TO 3 HOURS.
THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN RUIN THIS IS TO LET IT DRY OUT.
